Our hospitality team at SoftBrands works hard to help you succeed. We provide support at any time around the world.  We regularly measure your satisfaction with our support, our professional services and our company as a partner, and put specific plans in place to address areas that do not meet your expectations. And of course we design and deliver software and solutions that both help your hotel operate efficiently and increase occupancy.  

 

We hope all of this comes together to make our new slogan, “Technology Made Friendly”, real for you.  In 2008 we are also increasing our focus on the quality of our software and support. By improving quality in these areas, we make it easier for you to use our products and to get help when needed. 

To help increase our focus on quality, we have hired Terri Sen Roy as our Director of Quality Assurance. Terri brings over 10 years of experience in leading software quality assurance teams both domestically and internationally with a focus on improving client satisfaction. All quality assurance resources from across our various product development efforts and locations now report to Terri. Her team has nearly forty members mainly in the US and Asia.

 

With Terri as a key contributor to our management team, we will be able to combine global best practices and standardize quality assurance processes and methodologies.  These changes will result in better products by reducing the number of errors that you encounter in our products. In short, it will help us achieve “Technology Made Friendly.” 
 
SoftBrands will continue to strive to provide you with the products and support needed to help drive growth and profitability in your hotels. We wish you a successful and prosperous 2008.

Customer Profile

Montcalm Hotel


The Montcalm Hotel, an existing customer of SoftBrands, managed its operations on an old DOS-based platform, LANmark PMS, which did not have the rich functionality desired by Montcalm in order to move their hotel forward. “We were ready to move to a PMS that could successfully manage the core part of our business. The PMS needed to be built on proven, reliable technology with an emphasis on continued development and support from the supplier. Choosing the correct supplier was just as important to us as the software, we believe in delivering a high level of service to our customers and demand the same from our suppliers in return,” said Antonio Carvalho, Financial Director, Montcalm Hotel

Product Sunset

In an on-going effort to provide reliable high-quality products and services, SoftBrands periodically ‘sunsets’ or retires older and outdated versions of software. In other words the products reach the ‘sunset’ period. When discontinuing products, SoftBrands also discontinues live support, services and product development for those versions, but assists in identifying the best solution for moving forward.
